This is my interpretation of what I think is a Persian dance of some sort. I'm not sure if this is what the Abu-Ata style is. I do know it's some form of classical Persian music, so if anyone DOES know this kind of music, please share some info. Anyway, it's not true to the Persian sound (tuning, quartertones etc.) This is really supposed to be played on the Persian setar, but the software I used does not have that instrument. So the banjo was the closest thing to the setar. I am interested in ALL music from around the world, so I hope this is as close as it gets to Persian music. Enjoy!
