I am trying to improve my casting method to reduce defects. While I am practicing on the piston, I need better skills for the other parts too, such as crankcase and heads. I have been mailing with #Olfoundryman , so this is a test casting session to improve the quality of the piston castings. The Bambu Lab X1C 3D printer has been a huge benefit to my foundry work. In addition to fast accurate patterns, it is also core moulds, and tools like the slot sprue which are really fast to produce with this printer.
