We evaluate the improper integral of 1/x from 1 to infinity. By definition of an improper integral this is the limit of the integral of 1/x from 1 to b as b goes to infinity. The integral is straightforward, we just need to know the limit of lnx as x goes to infinity is infinity. This is a type 1 improper integral. #calculus2
