In this tear-down of the Valve Steam Controller, we inspect its construction, build quality, disassembly steps, and repairability. We found the controller's overall assembly to be excellent, with impressive ease-of-repair features (like clear, plain English labeling on all of the boards and connectors). The battery is also quick to remove and replace in the controller, being the first thing exposed when the chassis is opened. Overall, it's clear that Valve made a major effort to build a controller that can be fixed and maintained long-term.

Sponsor: Thermal Grizzly Duronaut on Amazon - https://geni.us/tpgcPMw
This review of the Lian Li Lancool 217 benchmarks it for thermal performance in CPU and GPU testing, including its CPU Mode and GPU Mode options, and also evaluates acoustics and noise levels. We test the Lancool 217 for build quality and assembly, radiator and PSU compatibility, and its features. Competition and alternatives to the Lian Li Lancool 217 include the Fractal Meshify 3, the Antec Flux and Flux Pro (and Antec C8), the Montech HS02, and a few other cases that we talk about throughout the review.
