In this video, we're exploring a couple of the latest changes that came with DCS Open Beta 2.9. The first? DLSS. With the addition of this and other upscaling technologies, higher resolution DCS VR gameplay is now possible! However, is it enough for true 4K gameplay recording? Unfortunately, it is challenging to get MAX GRAPHICS, 4K, and 60 FPS all together consistently... but luckily, there was another thing added in DCS Open Beta 2.9: FIXED TRACK REPLAYS, BABY!
Now that Track Replays are fixed, we can now have reliable replays of DCS gameplay. This includes gameplay that was done in VR since DCS also saves any and all VR head movements! This allows me to play DCS in VR at reasonable settings for the best FPS, while also allowing me to re-record the track replay in non-VR mode at MAX GRAPHICS. It's honestly pretty nuts!
So, in the end, I hope you enjoy this look at TRUE DCS VR 4K MAX GRAPHICS gameplay.. only made possible thanks to DCS World Open Beta 2.9.
