Raag`N' Rhythm, an Ensemble created by Malini Viswanath two decades ago to promote and propagate ancient Indian Classical Arts, had a very interesting virtual session with the quintessential musician Sangeetha Vidhwan Sriman B Vaidyanathan and his Shishyas at Sangeetha Vaijayanthi as Raag`N' Rhythm, paid homage to the great Sangeetha Moomurthi Sri Syama Sastri on 14th February, 2021 marking Syama Sastri's Day that was on Feb 6th.
Vidhwan Shri B Vaidyanathan Sir elaborated on many important and significant aspects of Carnatic music such as `Varnam Singing and it's role', `The significance of Kala Pramanam', `Manodharma and it's understanding'. With this session, Raag`N' Rhythm commemorated the Vardhanthis' for the Sangeetha Moomurthi ,Sri Muthuswami Dikshitar on 22nd November, 2020, Aaradhana for Sadguru Thyagaraja Swamy at Chinna Thiruvaiyyaru on Feb 2nd, 2021 and Vardhanthi for Sri Syama Sastri on Feb 14th, 2021.
