A TOWING VESSEL:
A Towing vessel when towing shall exhibit:
- Two masthead lights in a vertical line.

When the length of the tow, measured from the stern of the towing vessel to the aft end of the tow exceeds 200 meters, three such lights in a vertical line.
- Separate sidelights
- A stern light
- A towing yellow light in a vertical line above the sternlight
- A diamond shape where it can best be seen.
A vessel or object being towed, shall exhibit:
- Separate sidelights
- A sternlight
- When the lenght of the tow exceeds 200 meters, a diamond shape where it can best be seen.
