Impact experiment from October 4, 2010. I dropped an M&M on melted chocolate to see what kind of crater would form. Interestingly, the impact produced no splash due to the viscosity of the chocolate, and the crater was a smooth penetration hole without a raised rim. Viscous relaxation decreased the size of the hole fairly quickly.
