The elder god of thunder has declared war on Thor and on earth. Thor used everything he had, even the Odin Force, but he could only delay Toranos. To stop Toranos for good, he’s going to need help. He’s going to need the Thor Corps. Unfortunately assembling a group of people with the power of Thor is easier said than done. Beta Ray Bill and Thor had a falling out recently and Bill may not be eager to take on Thor’s power again. Storm of the X-Men is dealing with her own issues and she has had some negative experiences with wielding the power of Thor. God meets goddess on the moon and lightning will soon follow.
