Queensland Museum Tropics, Townsville invites students in Years 3-6 in the Townsville geographic area to imagine the future of our city in this 4-week Design and Technology challenge!
The challenge is aimed at expanding students’ understanding of the built environment, sustainability and design practices, and developing their creativity and problem-solving skills through imagining the future and predicting how our city will grow and adapt to meet the needs of the Townsville community.
Students will complete a series of tasks to pitch a concept design for a new urban solution that address a key issue that affects young people – this could be a new building, public space or other urban infrastructure.
