Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Singapore and published by Ubisoft. Releasing on July 9, 2026, it is a full remake of the 2013 classic, rebuilt entirely from the ground up rather than a simple remaster. Set once again during the Golden Age of Piracy in the 18th century Caribbean, the game returns players to the swashbuckling world of Edward Kenway — privateer, pirate, and reluctant Assassin — as he sails the open seas aboard the Jackdaw, caught between the Brotherhood's pursuit of freedom and the Templar Order's iron-fisted vision of peace. New additions include recruitable officers for the Jackdaw, expanded underwater exploration, extra ship customisation options, dynamic weather that affects sailing, additional story content featuring figures such as Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet, and new sea shanties. Built using the Anvil engine with technology carried over from Assassin's Creed Shadows, Resynced delivers the beloved pirate adventure in stunning modern form while staying faithful to what made the original a fan favourite.
