I'm The Pasty Judge
In this video I ride to Crackington Haven to try a Cornish pasty from The Cabin. It isn't something I take pleasure in of course. It was solely in the name of research as I explain in the video.
I purchased my pasty and stowed it in a pannier on the Witch, my Royal Enfield Himalayan. Continuing on my mission I transported my precious cargo to Millook Haven, where piece by piece I carefully consumed said pasty and offered my verdict on its various attributes eg. crust, filling, moisture level, size....... It was good.......dam good. 9/10 and only losing a point because in my opinion it didn't quite make a LARGE. However, I didn't take a measuring stick and I was in the GREAT outdoors, so it may have just appeared small. I must admit it staved my hunger.
All that was left was to hang some decorations and scout a footpath that my son and I will be using in the near future (as explained in the video.
A couple of days after filming, I was informed that our friends could no longer make it down for the planned weekend. It has been postponed not cancelled, so my efforts and scrupulous research has not been a waste.
