VERY VERY MINOR SPOILER FOR BOOK 16! LIKE NONEXISTENT SPOILER BUT STILL (also there is blood/minor gore in the final scene)!
I think this is the first time I've ever done something for a trend! I am quite happy with how this turned out, and what better time to do an animation with these two than after the release of The Hybrid Prince?
Little thing I wanted to point out - I slightly designed Crane (the "forgotten" one) after Clay's cover design, making her browns more orange toned. I also think she had underscale-colored/red freckles because I think CLAY has underscale-colored/red freckles and their similarity is part of the reason why Umber recognized him immediately.
Symbols:
1. A crane feather (probably an easy guess as to why I picked this one)
2. Reeds (like her brother's name)
3. A caterpillar (specifically a reed dagger caterpillar cuz why not). In THP, Umber mentioned that Crane liked to protect caterpillars until they became butterflies, which I think is very cute
4. Eye of Onyx (War of SandWing Succession)
5. Three moons (hatched on the brightest night. I put a dragon head on Imperial like Jake Parker did in the Darkstalker GN!)
6. Clay's egg (her brother)
7. Dragonflame cactus (also an easy one)
8. Icicle
