Hey friends. I'm back again to talk about a topic that I feel very strongly about and have a lot of opinions on. Several books I've read recently have brought this subject back to the forefront of my mind and I've wanted to sit down and have a chat about it for a while.

The way we represent trauma, specifically sexual violence for the purpose of this video, matters. Most of the scenes I've read that happen on-page are either unnecessary or poorly handled with language that leans into shock value.
