This is my entry for the Unstoppable Vidding Contest! I passed auditions, and then the assignment was to create a dramatic vid about your fandom. Well, I had the HARDEST time trying to figure out what to make for it. I was going to make a Frodo vid, then a basic LotR vid, then an Aragorn/Eowyn vid...then I was looking through my songs and found this one. I'd ALWAYS wanted to vid it to something, but it has such a specific storyline that a ton of manips would have to be made. Then I thought of the S4 finale of Castle. UMMMM, HELLO INSPIRATION. THANK YOU FOR COMING. :-P
This is obviously AU, but I really wanted to show the power of the last scene. Castle was just holding her and begging her to stay with him, and I thought this suited the lyrics so well. In this vid, obviously it's assuming that Beckett died (even though we know she doesn't), and I wanted to show what Castle's reaction would be. The black and white scenes are just things that had happened to them leading up to that defining moment in the show; kind of what Castle was thinking about when he was holding her. :) And then it stopped being black and white because that would have been TOO much black and white. :-P
AND this is for my Castle girls: Stephie, Lizzie, and Geena. All of you love Castle even more than I do, and I REALLY hope you like this!! You know I love you all! *hugs*
