This is a continuation of our series on self empowering issues. Providing insights and information and hopefully inspiration, that allow you the capacity to make positive change wherever you're having dilemmas or problems. The topic for today is "I'm not finished yet". Why? Why is that important? Because how often have we thought we're at a particular place in life where we don't have to work that hard, we don't have to do anything that new, we don't have to stress ourselves? We've got to a comfortable place of accommodating ourselves with our environment, our relationships, our career. In fact, how often are we really working for our security?
Well, look at the opposite of that, because everything has to be measured by its opposite at all times. What's the opposite of security? Insecurity. Which means that if you're really making a decision from needing to be secure, it's because you're insecure. There are so many people who feel they don't have to do anything more. They've made it. But then when you ask, "Well, what does it mean to have made it?" it means "I'm comfortable." So comfort becomes a position that a lot of people strive for, and they assume that with that comfort becomes security. Why? Because things become predictable. What's wrong with that? What's wrong with finding a place where you feel secure and comfortable and confident in your daily rituals? Knowing what you're going to eat? Knowing what's going to be the nature of a conversation? Well, do you ever find that boring?
