Lately stuff happened to me and making this vent helped me go through it. While I was making this, I realized that this was turning more into an mv with a story than an actual vent. xD
Story :
When Aelita met her roommate Laura she believed it would be the start of a new friendship. However she could not have been more wrong and soon realized it. Laura was distant to Aelita from the start. Aelita tried to be friendly and smiled as she started conversations, but Laura ignored her.
After a week, Aelita received a text from Laura asking her to move out of the room. Shocked, Aelita asked what she had done wrong, to which Laura texted back a long list of negative things about Aelita. Blaming herself, Aelita felt hopeless and all alone. She was lost and did not know where to go. She started avoiding her own room for a few days, thinking back of those texts. Laura smiled. Her roommate had been kicked out. She had won. Or so she thought.
Aelita managed to get some courage and talked to Laura, face to face. This was her room too, and she had no reason to leave. Laura made it completely clear that she had no intention of being Aelita's friend. When Aelita asked her why, Laura only answered : "Because we don't get along." Aelita was confused, she did not understand why Laura disliked her so much. How would Laura know that they did not get along if they never talked. Laura only said "I don't want to talk to you BECAUSE we don't get along."
From that day on, both girls continued to be roommates as complete strangers. None of them spoke to each other as they both carried on with their own individual lives separately.
