Not that you can’t be a doctor if you go to community college, have gap years, take the MCAT twice. But those were all things that would make the journey more challenging (so I was told).
At first, these obstacles were reminders of the “evidence” that I was not good enough. Until I learned that the obstacle is the way (thank you, Ryan Holiday for teaching me the most valuable concept that I will forever live by).
Here’s to proof that whatever your journey looks like, it doesn’t have to be absolutely perfect to lead you somewhere extraordinary.
