I'm Gonna Need A Second SP-404MKII After This...
Now that I know how good my drums can sound when mic'd up using the Zoom H6 Essential and my drum microphones, the first place my brain went was to the SP-404mkII. In my head, this pairing would mean that I could simply play something on the drums, and then instantly capture that playing as a sample, either intentionally or through skipback sampling. And...it pretty much worked exactly as I had hoped! This setup was SO good, that I think I might actually need to get a second SP-404MKII to use as a dedicated part of my drumset. Seriously, I had a BLAST making this video, and I can't wait to come back for more! Enjoy the video :)
