I mentioned planning this video several times the past few months, and now it's finally done. Back in the 3DS days after my Volcano Kick video, I got the idea to do a KO montage for Dedede's f-smash. Shortly after Wii U's release, I discovered the vastly improved prowess of Jet Hammer akin to Ganon's u-tilt, and started racking up KOs with it at a really surprising rate. So I decided to do a montage with the Jet Hammer and f-smash together from all the replays I have, for the fun of it all, and maybe I'll inspire Dedede mains to give the default Jet Hammer a chance like I did for Ganon players with u-tilt (seriously, all of Dedede's custom sets in the current custom moveset project having the terrible Armored Jet Hammer is so cringing). Jet Hammer nearly obsoletes Dedede's forward smash now, hence how many more Jet Hammer KOs there are in this video (and even more Jet Hammer clips were cut out in editing, while almost no f-smash clips were cut), though I still get a few f-smash KOs here and there.
When editing this video and going through all the clips, I was reminded of how fun Smash 4 Dedede can be. Hopefully the upcoming patch buffs him up to something the least bit viable so I can maybe pick him back up for competitive play, though I don't expect it since so many people still rank in the mid tiers, and only a few people like Dabuz are ranking him in the bottom tier.
