This is one of the few projects I've been working on in the last year and I'm exceedingly proud of how it's turned out. I know I haven't been putting out many videos anymore, but I hope you all will enjoy this tribute to the love between these two, specifically to their story told through Fitz's eyes.
As I've worked on this, I've thought of it as one of my last big FitzSimmons videos. I'm not going to say it's the last, because I don't know the future. There could be some future developments that inspire me so much I have to make another video. For now, I don't have any other Shield projects planned. Like many of my fellow editors who have been on here for years, I'm slowly coming to a permanent hiatus with my video work. I've been editing on Youtube since 2010 and it has been an amazing experience. I've gone through the days of MEP groups, copyright scares, friends coming and going, to completely changing my editing community. And I'll say it again - the greatest editing community on Youtube is still the Game Video Editing community. (Sorry liveaction editors but the GMV world is my true home.) Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy. You guys will ALWAYS be the best, with the greatest editors I've ever seen. That is the community where my strongest memories are, where I learned what video editing was all about. There are still videos out there I could never recreate myself because of the skill with which they were made.
But I've come so far with my channel and I'm so happy with the videos I've done! This video here is no different - I love it and I hope you will too.

This is not my last video, but it's just a reminder that this hiatus of mine will be more and more permanent. And if this ends up being my last FitzSimmons video, I can't think of a better way to end it. This might be the one description where I don't give a speech about my love for FitzSimmons. I think I've said all I can say on that end. This video speaks for itself.
I originally planned to make a sequel to this with Jemma's perspective. I'd still like to think that might happen...someday. (But don't hold your breath, lol.)

Editing Comments:
My favorite part of this video is the visual aspect I tried to create. I used a yellow/peach/blue coloring and a feint white border to create the effect. And I got to use a song that means so much to me - it might just be Sleeping At Last's best song for them. This is FitzSimmons as they are now, as they were, and as they always will be, regardless of future seasons.

It's been a few months now since I've uploaded this and the more I look back on it the more I love it. With most videos, I love it most when it's first made and after a while it's flaws become more obvious and I realize it wasn't the masterpiece I thought it was. With this video, the opposite is true. It's easily one of my best FitzSimmons videos I've put out, and possibly one of the best videos I've ever made in all my video editing work. I had an idea in my head and I made a video that perfectly matched that idea. That's only happened a few times before. I'm just so happy with this video! *tears*
