For the past few days I've been playing Elden Ring Nightrein. So far it's been a blast and going in as blind as possible has been the best decision I've made in this game. But it's pretty brutal and there's a lot to learn, and dying always make me come back for another run, just like what a good roguelike game does. Nightrein has also sparked a greater interest in me for The Duskbloods compared to when it was first announced. Although, the idea of it being a Switch 2 exclusive is not something I expected nor am I enthusiastic about. I only hope that the game at least comes out polished and that it sees the light of day of being on other platforms. Either way, I'm really keen to see how the gameplay of it turns out.
This isn't a review of Nightrein, but merely my super early impressions of the game, that lead to my growing excitement for The Duskbloods. Both games represent a huge opportunity for change in From Software's Co-Op and PVP experience, and I'm glad they're trying something different here.

Notes:
- People have said that From Software owns the IP to The Duskbloods, so there may be hope for ports to other platforms. But it also depends on the agreements between From Software and Nintendo.
- It's still early days in Nightrein, I know very little but I'm having a ton of fun.
- Don't have any pvp footage of my own because I haven't done it in years.
- I haven't done any runs with the other classes yet, I've just been getting a feel for them in the sparring area. Wylder and Ironeye are fun to play though, and I'm interested in learning the Duchess class.
- I don't show the other Nightlords because I haven't gotten to them yet.
