I'm Chipzel it's my birthday and I've release Shaman! 🎉💃🎶
Shaman was written on Gameboy in 2016, when I lived in London, and when the cracks started to appear in global destabilisation.

It is the audible mummification of the fear and anxieties and murmurs of a the world headed towards uncertainty with a longing for hope. I entered the Indie Games Industry just as it was taking flight, and not long after, Gamergate hit. Followed by Brexit. Followed by Trump. And sure you know the rest. I was thinking a lot about collective consciousness at the time and what it would take to unite with a common goal that valued nature, art, music and freedom to exist and coexist with awareness and wonder.
This piece is special to me and I'm incredibly proud of it. Its been the centerpiece of my live set for years - those who have come to see me live should recognise this and remember how huge this sounds from such a tiny battery powered device. LSDJ is such a beast. And there's beauty in the juxtaposition of it's size vs it's power.
Endless thank yous and huge love to everyone that's followed through it all. This one is ours.
