I know that I have been gone for quite a long time.
Here is why.
My mom had COPD and Dementia. When she was in the hospital with Pneumonia she coded and had to be brought back and put on a ventilator. From there she went to a Nursing Home. I would drive an hour and half 4 to 5 times a week. I did that for years because I wanted her to remember she was loved. Some days she wouldn't know me. But I always brought her around. In that time she coded 7 more times and made me promise her that she would die at home and not alone. She was in and out of the Nursing Home over 5 years. In 2018 we brought her home for the last time. In February 21 2019 she went to be with our dad.
