Hi everyone. I've been keeping busy enough with rl but decided to make a quick video about the new mimic boss. It's pretty good in terms of drops (springs, protean items, and the best is the treasure hunter auras which give loads of bonus slayer and combat xp). Not that slayer and combat xp are hard to get, but if you get quick kills then you definitely save time and probably money overall.
Basically you just avoid its attacks while spamming threshold abilities with range or mage. Use void or other dps gear and t90 weapons. I recommend an offensive scrimshaw but it's not absolutely required. Definitely use an aura like sharpshooter/runic accuracy, majharrat, or of the mage/range equivalents of berserker.
I've been doing the elite version, but it's probably more efficient to do the hard one since it's a lot easier and has similar drops. You also won't need to use scrimshaws and all of the top tier stuff.
Sorry for lack of editing/polish. I don't have any of my old video making software set up anymore. I don't even have a good headset... my best mic was on my webcam so I ended up wearing it around my neck.
