Overnight storms forced another major change to our route, and it looked like our goal of hiking 10 miles in Illinois might not happen.
Then Hiking With Shawn stepped in.
As a licensed Southern Illinois trail guide, Shawn knew the trails better than anyone. His last-minute reroute turned what could have been another failed hiking day into one of the best experiences of the entire Backpacking 10×10×10 Challenge.
Join us as we explore the Shawnee National Forest, meet another incredible Hiking G.O.A.T., and continue our mission to hike 10 miles in 10 states over 10 nights while raising money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
