1. You often talk about steam blocking knits. My question is do you need a special steaming device to do this? How would one steam block without this? Is it possible?? Thank you!!
2. Hi Andrea! I am wondering if you could speak more about your experience switching from English to continental style knitting. My sister (who is a more advanced knitter than me) shared that learning continental was a game changer in becoming a fast colorwork knitter. I currently only knit English style and am intrigued by this concept, but I hate the idea of having to “start again”. Would love any thoughts you have and thanks as always!

3. Sometimes I'll finish a sweater, weave in the ends, block it, and after wearing it, I decide that the hem or sleeves aren't the right length. If you want to unravel an edge to redo it, but you've already woven in ends, how would you go about doing that? Is there a best practice to weaving in ends so that it will be easy enough to undo it if you need to? I'm afraid that it will be all tangled at the sections where ends are woven in and I won't be able to unravel neatly.
4. Hello Andrea! I recently acquired some Suri DK mystery yarn and I ADORE the colors I got. I want to stripe them into a Nebula, but I’m not sure how to go about that with the short row shaping and shoulder construction. Do you think the Nebula pattern could be easily altered to accommodate striping? What techniques do you recommend to go about that? While I don’t have many garments under my knitting belt (mostly scarves and cowls) I consider myself an adventurous intermediate knitter, and I’m pretty good at figuring things out and making it work! I’m also not afraid of making a mistake or two along the way. I wanted to consult you first to see if you had any insight I might not consider with my limited experience. Thank you!
5. How do you prevent laddering in magic loop? How do you fix it if it is already there? Can it be fixed during blocking? Thanks!
