1. I absolutely love my Nebula. I think one thing I love the most is the bottom hem being longer in the back. How can I add one to other sweaters? Like is there a formula to use to determine the short rows? Thanks!
2. Hi Andrea, as many others have said, thank you for providing a little extra joy in our weeks with these weekly videos! I have two quick questions...do you ever take your work to a coffee shop and if so, what is your coffee shop beverage of choice? My second question is when you are knitting, if you come across a joined knot in your yarn from the mill, do you just continue knitting it or do you undo the knot and treat it as joining in a new skein? I hope that makes sense!
3. I’m knitting your DRK Everyday socks, and I’m confused about the heel gusset increases. Am I supposed to pick up the bar between the TN and BN, or am I supposed to knit (or purl) the first two stitches on the BN, then do the increase stitches? I hope my question makes sense.
4. I’m sorry if you’ve gotten this question before - but for someone who’s never been to Rhinebeck, what are your dos and donts? What do you wish you knew the first time you went? How do you recommend maximizing on the weekend and experience without burning out before the end?
Can’t wait to wear my Ooey gooey (my first color work sweater!) and see what Rhinebeck is all about!
5. I want to knit the Traveler hooded sweater in Malabrigo Dos tierras which is a 50% wool and 50% baby alpaca sport weight. Will the 50% alpaca work for this sweater or will it grow in length? Please advise as to what wool yarn would work and what will not work. Thank you.
