đĄ Did you notice that we often drop the "il" in spoken French? Learn how to do it properly (so you sound more fluent!)
Spoken French is almost an entirely different language than the written French you learned in school, and it comes with its own set of unwritten rules. For example, we often cut letters - and sometimes entire words - from our sentences when speaking!
One such word is "il". Have you ever heard someone say "ya" instead of "il y a", for example? In today's lesson, I'll explain a little bit more about why we do this and how you can do it too - the right way!
