The ignorance of capitalism is something I have covered so many times and Gary Economics own view of capitalism is no different. Again, it is filled with inherent contradictions, on one hand to acknowledge that if going by the definition of a free market, he then starts criticising capitalism based off of the problems in the economy today. It is unbelievable the amount of times we have to point out that if you're going to criticise capitalism, try and criticise it for what it is; a free market economy.
Many of the problems I have addressed, which is to say that his claim that it is so "non-specific" doesn't make sense, as we have been very clear of the problems regarding our economy today, you can see that from governments interference on many fronts. One such example I left out were the government subsidies that resulted in hundreds of private companies facing bankruptcy. You could see this with the 2008 financial crisis as that was the reason for the legally protected fraud that occurred.
It's all well saying that he looks for solutions and wishes to fix the economy claiming today's system is broken, heading for collapse, however, as history has proven, he most certainly will not get that by not only opposing capitalism, but by supporting more socialism that what was responsible for our economic mess today.
The likes of Gary Stevenson (Gary Economics) think that the welfare state, social security and all that "free stuff" somehow had no dire effect on the economy. Just like that of all the climate change nonsense, they pressured governments with those policies and the economy faces dire consequences. They are completely blind to that of their own actions, which is catastrophic to say the least.
