In our final video of this series, we are highlighting the inspiring STEM career of Mammal Zoologist Danae J.! After visiting the Dallas Zoo as a kid and becoming curious about animal behavior, Danae began researching animals and fell in love with zoology. Her passion only grew from there, and after interning at the Dallas Zoo, she earned her bachelor's degree in Zoology from Oklahoma State University and her master's degree in Zoo Conservation Biology from the University of Plymouth in the U.K.. With the support of fellow female professionals along the way, Danae's STEM journey eventually led her back to the Dallas Zoo to work with the animals she loves and educate the public about wildlife.
