Laconia Flight Academy will be conducting an IFR Flight Training Ground School Mini-Course at our facilities at Laconia Airport, starting June 16th, 2025.
This mini-course is ideal for both the IFR flight student who is already well into pursuing their Instrument rating, and for the rusty IFR pilot who needs a refresher in instrument flying.

Mini-Course Details
- 4 Session Course: Starts Monday, June 16th, 2025 (6:00pm to 8:30pm), with three additional classes that follow on June 18th, June 23rd, and June 25th at the same time (6:00pm to 8:30pm)
- Location: Laconia Airport, 65a Aviation Drive, Gilford, NH 03249
- Cost is $189 non-refundable; to be paid prior to start of the mini-course.

- National Air Space and Review of Low-Enroute charts
- FAA Regulations and Procedures relating to IFR flight

- Lost Communication Procedures, Emergency Operations

- Selecting IFR route of Flight
- Filing an IFR Flight Plan
- Picking up an IFR Clearance and getting Released
- Closing out an IFR flight plan
