On February 26, Amazon is removing your right to download Kindle books. They are going to discontinue support of the "Download & Transfer via USB" option for its Kindle purchased e-books. This will remove your ability to download and backup your Kindle library, and makes it almost impossible for you to move your library to a non-Kindle device if you choose to do so in the future (Kobo, Nook, Boox, etc).
