Many myths abound when it comes to mental health, especially regarding diagnoses. People end up with wild ideas or a very narrow understanding of what a particular diagnosis means, most likely based on movie portrayals or social media interpretations.
OCD - obsessive-compulsive disorder - is one example of a misunderstood mental health condition. It can be very different than what people expect.
