Today I skated the Connie Skateboards 8.3 Connie Comes Out AT Night board that is based off the Mike Carroll G016 deck. This board is from Clutch MFG in Mexico and it was the first time I've tried one. This was also the first time I tried Cherries Wheels, owned by Cat, a proud woman of color, the brand is based and manufactured in Texas. I have been riding a lot of X Formula and Formula 4 lately so it was a nice change to go with these 101's. They slid great for front blunts and tailslides on all the obstacles and I didnt get any flatspots in the process. which is huge! The new and coming soonish Slappy bearings are still riding smooth. It's my first time talking about them in a video but I've been skating them on my personal board for a while now. Overall this setup was a lot of fun but spoiler alert - the deck was too steep for my personal taste. Some of y'all are going to love it though. I also skated New Balance 933's and Asics Japan Pros in this video and was shocked by how good one of them is.
