all jokes aside, I’ve really had to learn how to bite my tongue since moving out to Spain because being late here is the social norm versus back home cutting people off if they’re late is the social norm

I do love my Spanish friends and how patient they all are, I definitely need to learn that skill — but it seems like after three years. I’m still not getting it.
