Just last month, a 77 year old man was walking home through downtown Seattle when surveillance video shows two men decide to attack the elderly man, seemingly at random. After beating the man until he was lying on the ground, not moving, the two assailants casually continued walking off. While several bystanders were nearby, none attempted to help until a nearby security guard alerted police. Fortunately the two suspects were later found and arrested, but not before sevearly injuring their randomly chosen victim.
