Over the past few weeks I have been closely fallowing the situation with Ethereum Foundation, ACD All Core Devs on the progress of Ethereum Main net (Eth1) and its client progress related to outstanding task with the merge. In addition there has been a mountain of content related to testing from the Eth2 and Merge Call teams on testing protocol execution, side effects and any test-fix-test content remaining.
That being said I had asked the question if any dApps have done any testing with the latest baseline and got a response I wasn't really expecting, effectively got told its on them and they would ship anyway. I explore the ask a little further here and see what we are really dealing with here.
