Something I don't see people talking about much is how Capcom actually has non-canon What-IF endings for each of the characters in HFTF, and they're all very interesting. Most of the characters who were offed in the canon actually now lived to continue their own stories, except for one. Capcom must've really hated Kakyoin for him to be unalived in both of his endings. Also just added some voicelines to make it sound cooler, which came from the PS1 version.
