ABOUT THE TRACK:
It's hard to know what to write, here. Despite the recent slew of fairly depressing original tracks (Turn Back, Where Somber Winds Blow, even Seraphim to some extent) this song's been rattling in my head for the better part of a year or two. I think over time it became more poignant and intense— if you recall a particular stream I just couldn't finish where I was writing a vocal melody, this is that song.

I should indicate that I intend to remain alive as long as possible— the question pondered in this song is less to propose any change in that status, and more to question one's impact among their friends, families, and community. It's just been a very hard year, even before my previous job closed its doors in late May; and I've opted to express some of the rougher things that have run through my head in my preferred medium/genre.
