Okay this might surprise you coming from an interior designer... but if someone handed me $100 to improve my home the very first thing I would spend it on is hiring someone to help me clean it. Not a new throw pillow. Not a new accessory. A cleaner. 😂🏡

Here is why. Your time is your most valuable resource and when you are spending it scrubbing bathrooms and mopping floors you are not spending it on the things that actually fill your life with joy. Hiring someone to help with the cleaning, even just once a month, gives you back that time so you can actually ENJOY your home instead of constantly maintaining it. It saves your relationships. It saves your sanity. And it frees up your mental energy to focus on the fun part... actually decorating and designing your space. ✨

A clean, organized home is also the foundation that every beautiful design sits on top of. You cannot truly see what a room needs design-wise when it is buried under clutter and mess. So before you spend another dollar on accessories or decor, think about whether your time and money would be better spent getting some help with the cleaning first. I promise you will not regret it.

So tell me, do you have any help with cleaning your home or are you doing it all yourself? Drop it in the comments 👇
