Are publishers relying TOO heavily on established franchises instead of taking chances on new ideas? 👀
I asked Heather Antos this at FAN EXPO Chicago 2026, and she explained why she likes IDW Publishing’s approach of doing both.
Big established properties on one side. Original and creator owned stories on the other.
And that raises the bigger question:
