1. Sangli Police Force faced increasing instances of lockdown violations
2. There were fears of an exponential explosion in COVID-19 positive cases
Solution & Implementation
1. Sangli Police deployed ideaForge Q Series UAV with HD daylight camera for
i. Security & surveillance
ii. Crowd monitoring
2. The drone was deployed conduct surveillance of
i. Public spaces
ii. Rooftops and terraces
iii. Areas not covered by CCTV cameras
3. With the help of Q Series UAV, Sangli Police was able to
i. Identify crowd hotspots and lockdown violators
ii. Dispatch on-ground teams in real-time to disperse crowds
iii. Maintain social distancing outside stores providing essential goods and services such as medical stores
