In the new energy landscape, most buildings will act as “prosumers”, i.e., trade energy based on local generation and storage. IDA ICE 5 features state-of-the-art models for building-integrated photovoltaic systems with batteries. A new reporting framework based on EN ISO 52000-1 provides overview and performance metrics for flows of electricity, fuel, and heat in terms of CO2 , cost, renewable- as well as non-renewable primary energy.

EQUA Simulation AB is a privately held Swedish company, dedicated to developing state of the art simulation tools for the building and tunnel industries. The company is headquartered in Stockholm (Sweden) and was founded in 1995, even though the development started already in the mid eighties.
