Talk 1: Implementing a Data Mesh Solution through Data Ops in Cloud
In this topic I will discuss the concepts of a data mesh (what is it, why is it needed, what problems it solves etc.) and talk through a customer experience building a data mesh on a cloud native solution stack. The session will discuss the elements of “data ops” and how to design repeatable and automated data engineering pipelines to build a self-service foundation for a data mesh. Then, will then discuss on the concepts of data assets, data products and feature sets to dive into design principles for a data mesh through a step-by-step process and explain the ways enterprises achieve the same. We will wrap up the discussion with a quick demo of a data mesh implemented for a client.
