For years, Justine Kurland has driven across the country, photographing landscapes and communities—real and imagined— on the fringes of society. Her latest project Sincere Auto Care explores the interplay between the freedom of the open road and the everyday realities in car culture. She is represented by Mitchell-Innes & Nash, New York; and is an ICP- Bard MFA faculty member.
