Multi-instrumentalist and Iconic Custom Guitars endorsed artist, John Spicer, was raised deep in the southern region of Illinois, a place where cornfields run for miles and where farming and factory work put food on the table. John began playing guitar at age 4 and soon after picked up the banjo, dobro, mandolin, fiddle, harmonica, lap steel, bass guitar and piano. By age 12 John had become a multi-award winning banjo picker who performed all over the southern Illinois region. Some of John's biggest musical influences include Brad Paisley, Eddie Van Halen, Vince Gill, John Mayer, Eric Clapton, John Fogerty, Doyle Dykes, Tommy Emmanuel and Chet Atkins.
