Legendary country music singer-songwriter Dolly Parton's death on Tuesday came just a few days after she said she recently battled some "hard times" with her health.
Her passing also comes about a year-and-a-half after her husband, Carl Thomas Dean, died in March 2025 at age 82.
The two, who tied the knot in 1966, had been married for nearly 60 years.
"I'm having to really go through a lot trying to figure out how to be without him because I was with him for so long," Parton previously told Entertainment Tonight.
“There’s that part of me that will miss him forever," she said, per the media outlet. "For the rest of my life, I’m sure.'
TMZ reported that Parton will be laid to rest next to Carl in the mausoleum at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Nashville, Tennessee.
