Well, this is the first, official A to Z video for the IC-705. So I guess I'm committed now. Sometimes my wife tells me that I should be committed. 😊
This video just covers some of the initial setup items to get started with the radio. We'll look at the 12V power cord, a look at some mounting options, installing a micro-SD card and programming your call sign into the radio. I also point you toward a good segment on Amateurlogic.tv that explains how to update the firmware in the radio.
In upcoming videos, we'll start walking through specific features and functions of the radio.
