this is about shiver/23-6/gash (bear with me shes had a lot of names) and her father, ranges.
shiver was stolen from her nest and brought to st. aggies when she was leaning too close to the edge. ranges tracked the owl who took her for days, and found his way to the mountain ranges that hide st. aggies.
here, he spent months waiting for the perfect moment to swoop in and save his daughter. little did he know, she was being moonblinked to the point of no return while he bode the time.
shiver quickly adopted to her pelletorium duties, and her new name, 23-6. she grew and fledged her feathers well, but could not fly thanks to the bats that drank the owlets' blood. truly, she was a perfectly moonblinked worker for st. aggies.
the day comes when ranges finally decides its time. he swoops in through the gap in the roof where moonlight filters in and, despite her baby down being gone, recognizes his daughter right away. he picks her up, but to his shock she fights him. she's much too far gone, and kills her father in the tussle.
skench, who was watching with interest, is thoroughly impressed and decides she can use 23-6's strength and apathy. 23-6 is given a new name by skench, gash, and is promoted to a guard/soldier, much like grimble.
its a dumb story but theyre fun to play with! im still relatively new to drawing owls so in a lot of ways this was mostly a stress relief video. i hope you like it anyways!
